Dr. Sampat Kumar Shettigar

I completed my MBBS and MD in Pediatrics from the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, followed by advanced training with Fellowships from the National Neonatology Forum and the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health, along with PGPN from Boston University. I began my journey in pediatrics in 2010 and have over 12 years of experience in Pediatrics and Neonatology. I started my career under the National Rural Health Mission, contributing to maternal and child healthcare in Mangalore. In 2014, I moved to Bangalore and worked as a Consultant Pediatrician. I later gained international experience in the UK, working in tertiary NICUs at Hammersmith Hospital and St Mary’s Hospital, associated with Imperial College London. My focus is on high-risk newborn care, NICU management, and neonatal ultrasound. I am also actively involved in training healthcare professionals. I currently practice as a Senior Consultant Pediatrician and Neonatologist at Kinder Hospital.
